Ships Cover for the survey ship HMS Sealark [ex-Investigator, ex-Consuelo] (1878, purchased 1903). The documentation mainly comprises schemes of complement, stability calculations, details of the required fittings and equipment, and alterations necessary to make her fit for surveying duties, and correspondence with the relevant contractors. The earliest papers date from May 1903 when the ship was first considered for purchase and the last from October 1904, by which point she was in service in her new role.
