Ships Cover for the King George V class battleships HMS Ajax (1912), HMS Audacious (1912), HMS Centurion (1911) and HMS King George V [ex-Royal George] (1911). The documents primarily comprise reports on docking, correspondence regarding ships equipment, identification of defects while completing and reports on alterations and remedial work carried out, reports on various trials including measured mile and gunnery, schemes of complement, information on stability and the fitting of anti-rolling tanks. There are also two copies of the report of the sinking of HMS Audacious (1912) on 27 October 1914. The papers cover the period January 1911 to February 1926.
