Ships Cover for ex-US destroyers (acquired 1940)
Ships Cover for the fifty US destroyers transferred to British service under the 'Destrooyers for Bases' agreement. These ships subsequently served as escorts under the British designation of Town class. The papers cover the period May 1940 to August 1952.
