The piers in Kingston harbour, Jamaica. The photographer is looking north-east from on board a passenger cruise ship out in the harbour. In the centre of the picture on the harbour road at the foot of King Street is a statue to Lord Horatio Nelson. On the extreme left and almost completely hidden by a dock shed is a Canadian National Steamships Lady class passenger/cargo liner with a banner proclaiming "Canadian Convention Ship" strung between the funnel and the mainmast.
