A family is in front of the building and a man is in a single plank side dugout canoe close to the shore. The photographer is on a cruise on the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928). The settlement is shown in negatives numbers P90293, P90300 and P92463 to P92478 inclusive and is variously recorded as Jaracaras and Jararacas.
