On the launch's wheel screen is FMN de Muana and FM & Co is on her funnel. A wooden building fronting the landing stage has Deposito de Sal on it. Other wooden buildings are in the background. The photographer is on a cruise on the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928). The settlement is shown in negatives numbers P90293, P90300 and P92463 to P92478 inclusive and is variously recorded as Jaracaras and Jararacas.
