On board a passenger cruise ship in the Brunsbuttel Locks on the Kiel Canal, Germany

On board a passenger cruise ship in the Brunsbuttel Locks on the Kiel Canal, Germany. A steam tug, seen from dead astern, is also in the lock. The photographer is looking south-west towards the River Elbe. The steeple of Brunsbuttelkoog church can be seen beyond the trees on the left. The ship is almost certainly the Cunard Line's Lancastria (1922) because the LX negative code was allocated to her by Waterline.
