On board a passenger cruise ship approaching the Hochdonn Bridge on the Kiel Canal, Germany

On board a west-bound passenger cruise ship approaching the Hochdonn Bridge on the Kiel Canal, Germany. The photographer is looking forward and to starboard from the ship showing the railway viaduct on the west side of the canal. In the foreground are the buildings occupied by H.H. Sierk & Sohn, Harburg-Süderhasfedt. The ship is almost certainly the Cunard Line's Lancastria (1922) because the negative series 831 to 844 are all of the Kiel Canal and the only ship identified is the Lancastria.
