The photographer is looking forward and slightly to starboard from the port side of the poop showing the mainmast and funnel. A number of passengers are on the boat deck which provides the best view. The 1912 truss and trestle bridge carries the traffic on the Prinz Heinrichstrasse across the canal. A vertical format negative.
