The photographer is looking south-west from the Obala Franje Tudmana on the west side of the town showing the Velika Knezeva Kula (Large Governor's Tower) on the left with old boat workshops next to it. Properties fronting the Put Sveti Nikole, including one with Kovacija above the door, are on the right. Boats are in the corner of the harbour and the Forteca (Fort Wellington) is on top of Novi Puti.
