The harbour at Leixoes, Portugal. The photographer is in the harbour looking north-east showing the offices and signal tower of the Administração dos Portos do Douro on the right and the Forte Nossa Senhora das Neves, also called Forte de Leça da Palmeira or Matosinhos castle, is to the left of centre. A small motor passenger tender is alongside the landing steps and open rowing boats are in the harbour.
