The tourist landing stage in Leningrad harbour, Russia.

The tourist landing stage in Leningrad harbour, Russia. The photographer is looking down from the deck of a Swedish passenger cruise ship alongside the landing stage showing an almost deserted landing stage which is decked out wih flags. The port's name is in cyrillic characters above the door. The surrounding wharves are stacked high with pit props and two Russian owned ships are alongside the wharf. The one on the left is deeply laden with a deck cargo of pit props. The Oka (1918) on the right does not have any deck cargo and her hatches are closed. Other steamships are alongside a long wharf in the background.
