A close view of the starboard quarter of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) alongside a wharf at Haifa, Palestine, taken from wide off the stern. The photographer is on a quayside and several small local craft are waterbourne in the foreground, including one which has H.M.I.27 on the bow. Beyond them is a passenger launch which is either embarking or disembarking passengers at a stone quay, overlooked by people crowding the quayside. A vertical format negative. Negatives numbers P84327 to P84329 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
