Abandon ship boat drill on board the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) in an unknown anchorage. The photographer is looking forward and down from the starboard side showing a wooden lifeboat in the water but still attached to her falls. A few passengers and a number of the crew, all wearing life jackets, are in the boat. Ahead is another wooden lifeboat suspended in her falls above the water and she is almost totally manned by members of the ship's crew.
