Three boats from the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) exercising in open water in an unknown location.
Three boats from the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) exercising in open water in an unknown location. The photographer is on board the ship looking down on the three craft as they turn and come past. One of the ship's motor lifeboats is leading the group and it is followed by one of the small seaboats which is using its engine and is towing the second seaboat. The two seaboats each have a crew of seven and the men in the second boat are sitting with their five oars tossed.
