A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in Greek waters. Her port anchor is deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and one of the ship's motor boats is in attendance at the gangway. Another of the motor lifeboats with some passenger embarked is passing the ship's bow. The Blue Peter flag is flying from the port yardarm and the Greek flag is at the starboard yardarm on the foremast. Lifeboats 17 and 19 have been launched and number 1 seaboat is swung out and lowered to boat deck level. Negatives numbers P84339 to P84346, P84496 and P84498 were taken on the same occasion.
