On board a Cunard Line passenger cruise ship anchored in Lyngen Fjord off Lyngseidet, Norway

On board a Cunard Line passenger cruise ship, either the Franconia (1923) or the Carinthia (1925), at anchor off Lyngseidet in Lyngen Fjord, Norway. The photographer is looking forward from the port side of the foremast showing the village. The parish church can be seen just to the left of the kingpost and the landing stage is just to the right of the kingpost. At the water's edge on the right are three motor fishing vessels and timber racks holding dried fish, which is known as clip in Norway.
