The village of Lyngseidet on the shore of Lyngen Fjord, Norway. The photographer is on the foreshore to the south of the village showing the landing stage on the extreme right and the parish church to the left of centre. Double ended rowing boats and the hulk of a motor fishing vessel are drawn up on shore. A ramshackle jetty is on the right. There are patches of snow on the mountains in the background which are partly obscured by low cloud.
