The Bahia da Potinha and waterfront at Funchal, Madeira.

The Bahia da Potinha at Funchal, Madeira. The photographer is looking west from the anchorage showing an unidentified steam yacht at anchor in the foreground. She is seen from just ahead of her port beam and has a pronounced clipper bow, two raking masts, one raking funnel and a long counter stern. The Mohle fort at the end of the breakwater is on the left and various small vessels are in the Bahia. On the right above the sea wall is a building with "Productos de Petroles" on it. Reid's Palace Hotel is on the headland in the background.
