Fort St. Angelo, Vittoriosa, Malta. The photographer is looking south-west-by-west from a ship moored in Bighi Bay showing the east side of the fort. On the left is the after part of the Royal Navy battleship Ramillies (1916) which is moored in Bighi Bay. She has awnings rigged and her port quarter accommodation ladder is deployed. On the right of the fort the bow of the battleship Resolution (1915) can be seen at moorings.
