Royal Navy warships at moorings in Grand Harbour, Malta. The photographer is standing by the Custom House on Lascaris Wharf and on the left is the statue of St. Publius mounted on the corner of the building. The battleship Queen Elizabeth (1913) has the battleship Revenge (1915) moored astern of her and they are both seen from fine off the port bow. In the left and right backgrounds are heavy cruisers of the London Class (1927). In the centre background is the battleship Resolution (1915) in the Admiralty Floating Dock No. 8 (1917). Dghaisas are in the harbour in the foreground. A vertical format negative.
