Royal Naval warships at moorings in Grand Harbour, Malta.

Royal Navy warships at moorings in Grand Harbour, Malta. The photographer is looking south-south-west from the Upper Barracca in Valletta showing the Corradino Heights in the background. Four ships are moored in a line in the centre of the harbour, all seen from off their port sides, and they are the battleship Queen Elizabeth (1913), the battleship Revenge (1915) and two London class (1927) heavy cruisers of the 1st Cruiser Squadron. The battleship Ramillies (1916) is in the Admiralty Floating dock No. 8 (1917). Moored stern-on to the lascaris wharf in the foreground is the salvage vessel Gladiator (1915).
