Newlyn,St Ives pilchard driver SS92 Godrevy unloading catch

The forward part of a St Ives pilchard driver, the Godrevy, regd SS92, is seen from the starboard side, moored bow-on to the slipway in Newlyn's old harbour, unloading its catch. A man bends over the gunwale by the foot of the partly lowered foremast, while eight men stand on the slipway among at least 15 fish baskets. The raised foremasts of five further luggers are visible beyond the Godrevy.
