Bayfront Park, Miami, Florida.
Bayfront Park, Miami, Florida, viewed from the east. A man is crouching at the waterside in the foreground and a fishing rod is by his side. At the waterfront in the centre is the aquarium ship Prins Valdemar (1892), seen from only just abaft her starboard beam. Leisure craft and a water/fuel tender are alongside berths in the harbour. Texaco tank wagons are on the quayside railway on the right near a floating derrick and a sheerlegs derrick on the quay. The building on the right is the Freedom Tower, completed in 1925. In the centre is the Hotel Alcazar and the building with the 4-step tower on the left is the Everglades Hotel, completed in 1926.
