Bayfront Park, Miami, Florida, viewed from the east. A man is crouching at the waterside in the foreground and a fishing rod is by his side. At the waterfront on the left is the aquarium ship Prins Valdemar (1892), seen from only just abaft her starboard beam. Leisure craft and a water/fuel tender are alongside berths in the harbour. Texaco tank wagons and an open truck are on the quayside railway on the right near a floating derrick and a sheerlegs derrick. The building on the right is the Freedom Tower, completed in 1925. In the centre are the Postal Building and the Hotel Alcazar and the building on the extreme left is the Everglades Hotel, completed in 1926.
