In the harbour at Mitylene, Lesbos Island, Greece. The photographer is looking west from the east side of the harbour showing two wooden hulled vessels moored stern-on to the quay. The nearest vessel is a 2 masted beam trawler and the other vessel is a single masted gaff rigged boat with fishing nets suspended from the masthead to dry. Alongside the west quay is an inter-island passenger ferry. The domed church of Saint Therapon is in the left background.
