A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) anchored off Merok in Geirangerfjord, Norway

A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) anchored off Merok in Geirangerfjord, Norway. Her port anchor is deployed, an accommodation ladder is rigged to the main deck aft and one of the ship's boats is alongside it. Lifeboat number 17 has been launched. The Blue Peter flag is hoisted at the port yardarm on the foremast. Low clouds obscure part of the mountains in the background. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
