The eastern side of Molde, More og Romsdal, Norway. The photographer is looking east-north-east from on board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928) which is anchored in Moldefjord. He is on the port side of the promenade deck aft looking forward showing some of the boats and the head of the accommodation ladder. One of the ship's motor tenders is heading shorewards with passengers. The town is backed by wooded hills.
