The north-west corner of Port Hercule at Monaco. The photographer is looking west-by-south from the north breakwater showing the motor speedboats Primavera III (fl. 1930) and Primavera II (fl. 1930) moored stern-on to the north quay. The Bristol Hotel, Majestic Hotel and Renaissance hotel are fronting the west side of the harbour in the district of La Condamine. A building on the right, at the foot of the road leading up to the district of Monte Carlo, has the name "Quick's" on it. Luxury motor cars are parked in a line on the north quay on the right. The Tete de Chien rocky outcrop and Mont Agel are in the background.
