A slightly distant starboard bow view of the United States Navy destroyer Shaw (1935) berthed on the Molo Angioino in the port of Naples, Italy. The photographer is on board the Orient Line passenger cruise ship Orontes (1929) which is being manoeuvred in the Bacino Angioino with the tug Vesuvio (1931), seen from off her starboard quarter, connected to her stern. The hull number of the Shaw is 373 and she is berthed stern-on to the quay with both anchors deployed. The stern of the hospital ship Po (1911) is on the right. The Castel Sant Elmo is in the left background.
