Shipping in the Bacino Angioino in the port of Naples, Italy. The photographer is looking forward from the forecastle on board an unidentified Canadian Pacific Steamships Duchess class (1928) passenger cruise ship alongside the Molo Angioino which is nearing completion. The Italian Navy heavy cruiser Zara (1930), seen from fine off her starboard quarter, is also moored to the Molo Angioino and another cruiser is berthed to port of her. Two Italian Navy cruisers and the destroyer Aquilone (1927) are alongside the Molo San Vicenzo on the right. Vesuvius is in the background.
