The harbour and town at Narvik, Norway.
A general view of the waterfront and town at Narvik, Norway. The photographer is on board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored off Narvik during a cruise of Norwegian Fjords. He is looking north-east showing the passenger landing stage to the left of centre with the large Ofoten Meieri (dairy) beyond it. An unidentified steam coaster is alongside a wharf on the right. Two of the cruise ship's motor tenders are shuttling passengers between the ship and the shore.
