No. 3 [Upper Hangar] Deck, location 3G0. Interior of the Hangar Extension Aircraft Repair Space, looking forward and to port. Storage crates can be seen on the shelf at Upper Gallery deck level. The space beneath has been put to use as an equipment storage area. Drop tanks, tripod axle jacks, a mobile pump and a forklift truck can be seen.

This is part of a series of photographs taken during the final stages of HMS Ark Royal's last major refit which was completed in 1970. The location references are derived from the deck plans in the latest edition of the ship's NBCD book.
