Rombaksfjord, off Ofotfjord, Norway. The photographer is on the slope of an heavily wooded mountainside to the east of Narvik looking north-north-west showing snow capped mountains in the background. A small house is on the shore of the fjord in the right foreground. The photographer has come ashore from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company's passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) which is on a cruise of Norwegian fjords.
