Bow view of Ankara (1927) moored at Tilbury Terminal
A colour transparency positive showing a fine off the starboard bow view of the passenger liner Ankara (1927). It is facing down river moored at Tilbury Terminal on the River Thames. The name of the ship is clearly visible on the starboard bow and both port and starboard anchors can be seen. The Tilbury terminal is in the background on the right hand side. The power plants at Northfleet are in the distance on the left hand side of the image.
