A distant view of the harbour entrance and waterfront at Nassau, Bahamas.
A distant view of the harbour entrance and waterfront at Nassau, Bahamas. The photographer is on the promenade deck of a passenger cruise ship well offshore looking south-east-by-south showing the lighthouse on the western end of Paradise Island and beyond it is the Water Tower in downtown Nassau, completed in 1928. Partially hidden by the stanchion on the right is the New Colonial Hotel or the British Colonial Hotel (renamed in 1932).
