The New Colonial Hotel or the British Colonial Hotel (renamed in 1932) on the waterfront at Nassau, Bahamas. Two glass bottomed passenger motor launches are under way in the harbour. They are seen from off the port bow and take passengers to view the Sea Garden and Beach at Paradise Beach on the north side of Paradise Island. The boat on the right is named Gloris III (fl. 1930). The photographer is looking south-west-by-west from in the harbour.
