The Manhattan skyline at New York. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship in the Hudson River looking south-east showing Piers 13 to 21, the Railroad Company piers. Piers 20 and 21 are the Erie Railroad, Pier 19 is the Eastern Steamship Line and the other piers serve the Lackawanna Railroad, Provident Line, Fall River Line and the Pennsylvania Railroad. Two New York Central lighters are under way passing these piers.
