On board the Swedish America Line passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) in Hardangerfjord, Norway. The photographer is on the aft end of the starboard side of the upper promenade deck aft looking forward and to starboard showing the bow of lifeboat 13 and the sterns of lifeboats 11 and 11A. Mountains with a few patches of snow on them are in the background. The photographer was on a cruise in Hardangerfjord but the precise location is unknown.
