The fishing fleet gathered at Norheimsund, off Hardangerfjord, Norway.
The fishing fleet gathered at Norheimsund, off Hardangerfjord, Norway. A large number of motor fishing vessels and double-ended open boats are moored together off the village waterfront. The motor vessels are a mix of clinker built, rounded stern types and carvel built flat transom types. The stern of one boat is piled high with fine nets under a long continuous line of floats. Heavily forested hills are in the background.
