The waterfront at Tysse, Samnangerfjord, off Hardangerfjord, Norway. A large factory building emitting a column of smoke is to the left of centre at the mouth of the Tysseelva river. A motor lifeboat is heading towards the shore and the photographer is on board an unidentified Orient Line passenger cruise ship which is cruising in the Hardangerfjord area, including a call at Norheimsund. Heavily forested hills are in the background. The negative is captioned "Northeimsund - Tysse" (sic).
