The Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) and the Dutch passenger cruise ship Rotterdam (1908) anchored off North Cape, Norway.
A very distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at anchor off the south-east coast of North Cape, Norway. Beyond her and seen from just abaft the port beam is the Dutch passenger cruise ship Rotterdam (1908), also at anchor. The photographer is looking east-south-east from high up the zigzag footpath showing a motor lifeboat alongside the end of the landing pier. A few other boats are standing off the pier waiting their turn and other small boats are at anchor in the bay.
