The Hellesyltfossen waterfall and the northern outskirts of Hellesylt, Norway.

A view over the Hellesyltfossen Waterfall and the northern outskirts of Hellesylt, Norway. The photographer is on a shore excursion from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) and he is looking north-east from high ground above the waterfall showing a few buildings, a cultivated field and the Sunnylvsfjorden. Mountains are in the background. The vertical format negative is incorrectly captioned "Oie", which is a very small settlement on Norangfjord and may have been another destination on this cruise.
