The village of Hellesylt at the head of Sunnylvsfjorden, Norway.
The village of Hellesylt at the head of Sunnylvsfjorden, Norway. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship anchored off the village. He is looking south-west showing the mouth of the Hellesyltfossen in the centre with the local church on the slope above it. The Grand Hotel is just to the right of the Hellesyltfossen and her bouiler chimney is smoking badly. The landing place is on the right. The negative is incorrectly captioned "Oie", which is a very small settlement on Norangfjord and may have been another destination on this cruise.
