A floating dock and a steam yacht or passenger vessel in Oslo harbour, Norway.
The Akers Mekaniske Verksted Floating Dock No. 1 (1909) in Oslo harbour, Norway. The photographer is in the harbour looking towards the shore showing the floating dock with a small vessel high and dry in it. At anchor on the right and seen from off her starboard bow is a 2-masted, single funnelled vessel that looks like a luxury steam yacht but may be in use as a passenger ship. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
