Shipping alongside quays on the east side of Oslo harbour, Norway. The photographer is in the harbour looking east towards the grain silos and the Ekebergpark. The vessel on the left, seen from off her port beam, is the Olsen's Bergen Line passenger/cargo ship Bretagne (1937) which operated a weekly Oslo to Antwerp service. Four other large cargo vessels have not been identified.
