The photographer is looking north-east along the quay showing the port side of the bow of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929). Her anchor is not housed. In the background is the shipyard of Akers Mekaniske Verksted and one of the ships in the yard has the funnel colours of Thor Dahl A/S. A vertical format negative.
