A village on the shore of Oslofjord, Norway.
A village and harbour on the shore of Oslofjord, Norway. The photographer is on board a passing passenger cruise ship. The village has a small harbour protected by a loose stone breakwater and a large number of small open rowing boats, a single masted yacht with her sails set and a small motor fishing vessel are inside the harbour. On the right is a timber wharf with sheds on it and the largest shed has "A.G. Johansen, sand, cement, kalk and sten, Traelast" on it. The houses of the village are on the slope of a hillside which is heavily wooded.
