The passenger ferry terminals on the north side of Oslo Harbour, Norway.
The passenger ferry terminals on the north side of Oslo Harbour, Norway. The photographer is on board an Orient Line passenger cruise ship anchored out in the harbour looking north-by-west showing a number of ferries alongside the terminal quays. The ship's motor lifeboat number 17 is returning to the ship from the landing steps. The city of Oslo is in the background and on the left a tall crane marks where the new City Hall is under construction. Construction started in February 1933 and the building shell was completed in November 1936.
