The Oystese Hotel on the north-east side of the village of Oystese off Hardangerfjord, Norway. A number of double-ended open boats are at the water's edge. The photographer is on a shore excursion from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored offshore in Hardangerfjord.
